Since 2006, Connect-123 has assisted gap year, undergraduate and graduate students to find challenging, career-related internship, volunteer and service learning projects in a wide range of fields including human rights, journalism, education, business consulting, entrepreneurship, health care, engineering and sustainable development.
Through our extensive network of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Cape Town, Dublin and Shanghai, our local, on-the-ground staff can find specific opportunities for students according to their academic and career goals.
For all programs, we provide substantial local support, including secure housing, logistics support and regular social programs (ranging from cultural tours to group community service activities). We also advise program participants prior to departure and provide ongoing support and guidance once abroad, from academic advice and mentoring to hands-on help in case of an emergency.
All programs run throughout the year and have flexible start dates and durations. Typical durations are 8 to 12 weeks, however programs can range from 2 weeks to 6 months.
