It is never too early to start thinking about including an international experience in your college career.
Florida State University’s First Year Abroad program gives high-achieving, adventurous and global thinking students the opportunity to spend their first year as a college student studying in London, England; Florence, Italy; Panama City, Republic of Panama; or Valencia, Spain. A few of the many benefits include small classes, engaged faculty, exciting cultural/educational excursions, and an exceptional student support system. Also, students who choose FYA return home more self-assured, open-minded, and globally aware—a huge asset for both their college and professional careers. The benefits and rewards continue upon return to the main campus in Tallahassee, Florida. Where, upon successful completion of the program, out of state students will be assessed “in-state” tuition rates for the remainder of their first undergraduate degree at Florida State.
