National Board Certification Assistance Grant
Two (2) $2,000 awards
Any registered NSHSS Educator* that works with high school students in an academic capacity both in the US and internationally.
*We invite school social workers, counselors, homeschool educators, test prep professionals, teachers, administrators, etc. to register for free as an NSHSS educator and begin applying for NSHSS grants.
Grant Details:
NSHSS assists with financial support and resources for educators pursuing the National Board Certification (NBC), a prestigious and rigorous professional certification that recognizes exemplary teaching practices. This grant aims to encourage and facilitate educators' commitment to continuous professional growth, ultimately enhancing the quality of education in our schools. NSHSS is providing two (2) $2,000 grants to educators pursuing this certification.
Application Requirements:
- Prompt response of 500-800 words to the following question:
- Reflect on your commitment to excellence in teaching and describe your decision to pursue National Board Certification. Please share strategies and approaches you have employed in preparing for the certification process. How do you envision National Board Certification contributing to your ongoing professional development, and what impact do you anticipate it will have on your effectiveness as an educator and student learning outcomes?
