Klara Higgins is an Environmental Science and Biology teacher at Innovation Early College High School on East Carolina University campus in Greenville, NC. She is in her 12th year as an educator and appreciates every day she gets to be in the classroom doing what she loves.

NSHSS is providing five (5) $1,000 grants to enhance STEAM-related activities, innovation, and classroom excellence for teachers in a STEAM field. Funds may be used for supplies, materials, field trips or other resources to enhance the delivery of their courses.
