Nicole Catuccio

Nicole Catuccio is a year ten social studies teacher at Enfield High School. She teaches civics, AP US Government, and AP Comparative Government. Mrs. Catuccio has received numerous awards for her dedication to her students including:
- The Daughters of American Achievements Revolution (DAR-Enfield Chapter) “Outstanding Teacher” Award
- Nominated for the Yale Educator Award
- Enfield Teachers’ Association Teacher of the Month
- Finalist for Enfield Public School’s Teacher of the Year
- Connecticut Education Association’s, “Harvey Milk-Sylvia Rivera Award,” which honors a teacher who challenges discrimination related to gender identity and sexual orientation
- Connecticut Council for the Social Studies, “John Stedman Passion for Social Studies Teaching” award which is as an award based on student nominations

When Mrs. Catuccio is not teaching, she is spending time with her husband, son, and mini golden doodle and training for road races.

Grants Awarded in 2024: School Supplies Grant

NSHSS is always looking to find ways to support our network of educators, especially those who are constantly looking to support their students. To help offset the financial burden, NSHSS is giving four (4) high school educators $500 grants to help provide additional opportunities to their students and classrooms.
