Colorado Teen Gains Inspiration from Nobel Week
When Annika Schneider applied for the travel grant to attend the NSHSS Nobel Week program in Stockholm, Sweden, she didn't expect to be selected. "I wrote about how I realized that normal people can change the world. It doesn’t take someone with lots of money or any special talents to make the world a better place.” That idea stood out for the selection committee, earning Annika one of the 30 available spots on the trip as well as one of the scholarships to help offset travel costs.
Annika's impressions of the experience, where she describes the trip as "the best experience of my entire life,” are written up in her local Lafayette, Colorado publication, the Colorado Hometown Weekly.
