Ava Ballard

Ava Ballard is a dance major at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In high school, she was Vice President of the Class Council, Chief of Staff of the Student Government Association, Head Choreographer for her high school's Theater Department, and a Student Teacher at Sherry's Dance Center. She volunteered at her dance studio, church, and through the clubs she participated in. Over the summer, Ava was hired to choreograph a musical for her former high school. She also choreographed solos for her dance studio and taught classes. At NYU, Ava is a part of the Center for Ballet and the Arts Student Leadership Board, Pulse Dance Club, and Student Government. She volunteers through her church and is taking on the challenge of choreographing a student dance performance for her program at NYU.
