As a Black, low-income, first-generation American and college student from a single-parent household, Devon works to decentralize opportunities for underrepresented groups, helping them access careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). As the Vice President of the National Society of Black Engineers, Devon has created and maintains a pipeline of minority talent, preparing them to work at Fortune 500 companies, conduct research at top laboratories, and obtain academic positions. Devon's mission is to improve opportunities for all Americans, believing that the country's continued success depends on a strong, supportive community.
