Greyson Geisnes
Greyson Geisness is an award-winning classical musician with an active history of volunteering and community involvement. He has a passion for music and for sharing its beauty with the world. This passion has driven him to work diligently to be the best musician he can be, which has afforded him numerous accolades. He is proud to have been named the national winner of the Wendell Irish Viola competition among his many awards. He is also grateful to have been awarded an Oded Kishony viola on scholarship from the generous VIRTU foundation. He has performed at numerous venues and is incredibly proud to have been invited to perform for the National Federation of Music Club’s national convention. He is a student of high honors with distinction at Interlochen Arts Academy and a member of the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, where he received the CTY High Honors Award. Greyson has taken part in many summer music festivals and performed with several orchestras and chamber ensembles. He is applying to music conservatories and plans to major in viola performance. Besides music, Greyson enjoys snowboarding, skimboarding, tennis, and food.
