Olivia Dower
Olivia is 2021 graduate of New Rochelle High School. She is described as an admirable student; but as VP of the school's Ignite peer mentoring program and frequent director for student shows, Olivia's greatest inspiration comes from leadership. A devoted swimmer since she was eight, Olivia competed at sectional championships throughout high school and was chosen as captain of her high school swim team. For twelve years, Olivia served as an active Girl Scout, honored with Silver and Gold Awards for workshops she created and led at her local library. A member of New Rochelle High School's unique arts program, PAVE, Olivia directed, wrote, filmed, edited, and performed in numerous plays and films. She received an award at graduation in recognition of her talents, including work on a post-pandemic, online musical that received national attention from Apple and other media. In her spare time, Olivia enjoys lifeguarding at the beach and baking. Olivia is attending Bard College, where she seeks new ways to combine her love of performance with her passion for politics and social action.
