Samad Quraishi

Samad is a high school senior at George C. Marshall High School. Samad has loved politics since he was young, and believes policy and good leadership is the most powerful tool for bringing about meaningful change. Samad's passion led him to creating the Centre for Voters Initiative & Action, a global advocacy group fighting for civics education and youth engagement in government. As part of his work, he led the first sole high school student led bill in Congress, led multiple talks and roundtables with the White House, and works with the United Nations to push for global civic education mandates. Samad hopes to continue his education by attending college, focusing on political science while continuing his work with the Centre.
