William He

At just 16 years old, William founded Dream for America -- a national non-profit organization mobilizing young people to advance liberal values, defend democratic institutions, & stand up to right-wing extremism. In 2023, William also served as a U.S. Senate Page representing his home state of Texas.

In 2021, William also founded Bread for America. This local anti-hunger organization raised $40,000 in 4 months to deliver 10,000 pounds of food to 1,200 Black & brown working-class communities after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Beyond politics, William is an ice cream connoisseur, aspiring dog owner, avid traveler, & devoted model airplane collector. Outside of school, he also rows crew, dabbles in coding and filmmaking, competes on the Model UN & Debate team, studies Latin, and is fluent in both English and Mandarin. William also serves as Senior Class President & Chairman of the Prosper Mayor's Youth Advisory Council.
