Yi-Yuan Lu is a highly motivated and accomplished student with a wide range of extracurricular activities and community involvement. A dedicated athlete, Yi-Yuan participates in AAU Taekwondo, Cross Country, and Track, demonstrating exceptional discipline and commitment. Beyond sports, Yi-Yuan is actively involved in his church youth group and takes advanced coursework in AP Chemistry outside of school.
Yi-Yuan has earned certifications as an EMT through the National Registry and the Pennsylvania Department of Health, volunteering at East Whiteland Fire Company, Phoenixville Hospital, and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center of Philadelphia. As an assistant instructor at Paek's Taekwondo School, Yi-Yuan shares his expertise and passion for Taekwondo with others.
In addition to his academic and volunteer efforts, Yi-Yuan works as a part-time ski instructor at Bear Creek Mountain Resort and enjoys hobbies such as calligraphy, penmanship, photography, and scuba diving, holding a PADI Rescue Diver certification. Yi-Yuan’s dedication to both personal growth and giving back to the community reflects his strong work ethic and desire to make a positive impact.
