NSHSS Student Athlete Scholarship

Award:

Ten (10) $2,000 awards

Eligibility:

NSHSS rising high school members graduating in 2025, 2026, or 2027, and recently graduated 2024 seniors.

Scholarship Details:

NSHSS has created this scholarship dedicated to student athletes who are passionate about and excel within their respective sports. Athletes of all genders and of all sports are encouraged to apply.

Application Requirements:

Educator recommendation letter
Essay response of 500-800 words to the following question:
- What are the benefits and challenges of balancing your academics with your sport participation? What is it about your sport that makes you passionate? Please provide one example that help to illustrate your point.
Pictures/videos/media showing your leadership in action (optional)
Color headshot suitable for website posting
Current Transcript (can be official or unofficial)
